Ep. 9 The Best Skincare Tips W/Prudence

The Podcast

Prudence is basically the best person ever.

“You know what? I just really miss being creative in this sense.

I love the work I do as an occupational therapist, but I miss being creative in this way too.

I finally just wanted to be able to express it in a way that was satisfying and fulfilling for myself.

And also building a community around people who are like-minded.

What really is holding me back but myself?”

By day she is an Occupational Therapist.

And by night she is a Fashion and Beauty Blogger.

Her inspiration from skincare came from watching her mom always emphasize taking care of herself and really teaching the importance of taking care of yourself.

And her inspiration for becoming an Occupational Therapist came from her desire to help people in her career.

In my opinion it is so crazy that she can have such a passion for two very different things.

In this episode we learn about how Prudence balances both so well in the day to day.

In this episode Prudence shares a little bit about her background of how her parents immigrated from Taiwan. She shares that her family worked hard to get her the opportunities she has.

She shares other things that help her be creative things like journaling and talking really refresh her to get her brain going.

Prudence shares about how she just jumped into the blogging world as a way to build community and get her creativeness out into the world.

Her tagline on her blog is,

“Elevate the Everyday”

Her definition for that is:

You can find things big or small that make your day better.

For Prudence that means taking care of herself. Going through her skincare routine, connecting with friends and having a meaningful conversation, or buying something for a friend.

Through skincare, beauty, style Prudence can share her world and how she makes it special for herself.

Prudence has a new blog post every Friday! Screen Shot 2018-06-13 at 12.12.30 PM
